Privacy Policy

1. Overview

RivrDEX is a non-custodial, wallet-first protocol. We are built to collect as little personal data as possible: there are no accounts with emails or passwords, no KYC, and we never have access to your funds or private keys. This policy explains what limited data the RivrDEX website at rivrdex.io and the Rewards program do process, and why.

2. What We Collect

  • Public wallet addresses. When you join the Rewards program, your Vara wallet address is stored to track points, levels, and redemptions. Wallet addresses are public blockchain data by nature.
  • Discord ID. If you choose to link Discord (optional; required only to claim role bonuses or redeem shop rewards), we store your Discord account ID and read your roles in the RivrDEX server. We do not access your messages or friends.
  • Payout address. If you redeem a USDT reward, the payout address you provide is stored so the team can send it.
  • Session cookies. We use a small number of httpOnly cookies purely to keep you signed in to the Rewards program (wallet and Discord sessions). They are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
  • Anonymous usage analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate traffic (page views, country, device type). It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.

3. What We Do NOT Do

  • We do not sell or rent any data to anyone.
  • We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking of any kind.
  • We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or identity documents.
  • We never hold your funds or private keys — all trades are signed in your own wallet.

4. How Data Is Used

The data above is used solely to operate the Rewards program: crediting trading points read from public on-chain activity, enforcing fair-play rules (one wallet per Discord account), fulfilling shop redemptions, and providing support. Reward balances and history are readable by wallet address, the same open model as a blockchain explorer.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on a small set of infrastructure providers:

  • Vercel — website hosting and anonymous analytics.
  • Neon — database hosting for rewards data.
  • Discord — optional account linking via OAuth; governed by Discord's own privacy policy.

The RivrDEX trading app interacts directly with the public Vara Network blockchain; on-chain transactions are public by design.

6. Data Retention & Your Rights

Rewards data is kept for as long as the program operates. You can stop using the Services at any time; disconnecting your wallet ends your session immediately. To ask about, or request deletion of, the data linked to your wallet or Discord ID, contact us at team@rivrdex.io. Note that on-chain activity is public and permanent by the nature of blockchains and cannot be deleted by anyone.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
